Five years ago, in Jingdezhen—a city renowned for its centuries-old porcelain tradition and global recognition—the ceramic industry was struggling, with total production value hovering between 2 billion and 3 billion yuan. However, recent developments have shown a dramatic turnaround. At a recent conference held in the city, Feng Linhua, a standing committee member and deputy mayor of the Jingdezhen Municipal Committee, revealed that in 2010, the city's ceramic production value surpassed 16 billion yuan, marking a significant leap in both scale and economic impact. This rapid growth has not only revitalized the local ceramic sector but also boosted the city's overall financial performance. In the same year, Jingdezhen's fiscal revenue reached 5.3 billion yuan, reflecting the positive ripple effects of the booming ceramic industry on the city's economy.
