The gathering aimed to discuss the development and future direction of China’s national ceremony art, fostering dialogue and collaboration among key figures in the field. The event was chaired by Jia Jianbing, deputy secretary-general of the National Gold, Silver and Jewelry Industrialization Committee. The meeting commenced with a speech by Deng Yusheng, director of the National Gold and Silver Jewelry Industrialization Committee, who emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting traditional Chinese cultural heritage through the arts. Following him, Chen Enfang, secretary-general of the same committee, introduced the theme of the conference, highlighting the significance of integrating traditional craftsmanship with modern artistic innovation. Several distinguished guests then took the stage to share their insights. Among them were Lu Qinzhao, former deputy director of the Central Office Administration Bureau; Shi Yanchun, former Chinese ambassador to Syria; Zhao Xuechang, former Chinese ambassador to Oman; Wang Taiping, president of the China-Japan Cultural Exchange Association; and Wang Zhen, master craftsman from Beijing Crafts. Other notable participants included Ma Xianjun, a research fellow at the National Friendship Museum; Tang Kemei, vice chairman of the China Arts and Crafts Association; Zhang Shurong, deputy director of the China Light Industry Jewelry Center; and renowned artisans Yang Genlian and Wang Shuwen. Additionally, Wang Banghua, secretary-general of the Chinese Collection Association, and Makino, director of the Beijing Jinbaohui Art Museum, also contributed their perspectives.
