The national national art professional expert demonstration meeting was held in Beijing
On the morning of August 22, an important national ceremony art expert verification meeting was held in Beijing. The event brought together diplomats from former Chinese embassies abroad, scholars and experts specializing in the study of national ceremony arts, renowned Chinese crafts masters, collectors, and other relevant individuals. They gathered to exchange ideas and explore the future development of China’s national ceremony art.
The meeting was chaired by Jia Jianbing, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Gold, Silver and Jewelry Industrialization Committee. Mr. Deng Yusheng, Director of the National Gold and Silver Jewelry Industrialization Committee, delivered the opening speech, highlighting the importance of preserving and promoting traditional Chinese cultural arts. Following that, Ms. Chen Enfang, Secretary-General of the same committee, introduced the main theme of the conference, emphasizing the role of national ceremony arts in representing China’s cultural heritage.
Several distinguished guests then took the stage, including Lu Qinzhao, former deputy director of the Central Office Administration Bureau; Ambassador Shi Yanchun, former Chinese ambassador to Syria; Ambassador Zhao Xuechang, former Chinese ambassador to Oman; Wang Taiping, president of the China-Japan Cultural Exchange Association; and Wang Zhen, master craftsman from Beijing Crafts. Other participants included Ma Xianjun, former general manager of the Fine Arts Group; Tang Kemei, research fellow at the National Friendship Museum; Zhang Shurong, deputy director of the China Light Industry Jewelry Center; and renowned artisans Yang Genlian and Wang Shuwen, along with Wang Banghua, Secretary-General of the Chinese Collection Association, and Makino, director of the Beijing Jinbaohui Art Museum.
Each speaker shared their insights and research findings on the evolution and significance of China’s national ceremony arts. Their presentations were rich in content, offering valuable perspectives and deep knowledge, which greatly benefited the audience and received enthusiastic applause.
All participants expressed their commitment to actively engaging in future cultural and academic events organized by the National Gold, Silver and Jewelry Industrialization Committee. They emphasized the importance of working together to refine and promote the essence of Chinese culture through these artistic traditions. At the conclusion of the meeting, all attendees gathered for a group photo, marking the successful end of a meaningful and inspiring event.
